The Mongolian Language Law stipulates that state and local self-government bodies will use a combination of Cyrillic and national scripts in their official documents from January 1, 2025. The Public Transport Policy Department organized a one-month initial and intermediate training course to improve the knowledge of Mongolian writing among its employees.
The training was organized by R. Ulziikhuu, a specialist in Mongolian language and literature education at the Capital Education Department, S. Batmunkh, a national writing instructor for civil servants, M. Buyandelger, a Mongolian language and writing teacher at School No. 97, and S. Nerguyetsets, a Mongolian language teacher at the General Education High School affiliated with the Mongolian State University of Education.
More than 80 employees of the department participated in the training, practiced reading, writing, and maintaining official correspondence in Mongolian script, improving their skills.
The employees who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates by the Capital Education Department. We would like to express our gratitude to the scholars and teachers who respected our heritage and taught us our national script.
